EFX wants to run a soccer camp in Calgary because it’s a city with a strong, rapidly growing soccer culture and a high demand for elite-level training. Calgary has talented young players who are eager for advanced development opportunities, and we see a clear need for the type of high-quality coaching, European training methodology, and pathway opportunities that EFX provides.
By bringing our programs to Calgary, we can support local players, connect with new clubs and families, and help elevate the overall level of play in a city that’s already passionate about the game. It’s an ideal environment for EFX to make a meaningful impact and expand our reach within Canada’s soccer community.

KNOWLEDGE
All participants in the Real Oviedo camp will receive training based on Real Oviedo’s values, which have been formed over the course of our 95 years of history.
The players will take part in training sessions which follow the Real Oviedo methodology and will help them to improve the technical and tactical aspects of their games.

We have a strict 12:1 Player to Coach ratio to ensure every player receives close instruction. Our 6 hour full days ensure that we maximise our time together.

TRAINING
All the training sessions at the EFX PRO Camps are designed by our UEFA licensed coaches. These sessions focus on helping participants improve their technique, physical condition, playing tempo, and positioning on the field.
There will also be an emphasis on the psychological aspect and other areas of the world of soccer to allow participants to perform at their best and play for a professional club.
TECHNICAL & TACTICAL
During the camp, participants work according to an analytical method designed to improve their technique, which is vital for the player to progress. By offering exercises inspired by some of the most talented players in world soccer, we give participants the chance to see how the biggest stars and players from our youth teams develop their technique.

We ensure that the young players become accustomed to different play concepts, everything involved in each playing position, quick decision-making, and other playing tempos. By using real situations, the player acquires awareness of how best to act in each precise moment.
PRIZE
All players will be carefully assessed by our professional coaches. Players that we demonstrate an elite level of technical and tactical acumen, we will invite to attend and stay with our Allstar team in England and play vs. Brighton, Bolton Wanders, Blackpool and Tranmere.
Also, you will be train under academy coaches from the professional academy coaches, watch 1st Team Training Sessions, and experience what life is like for a professional player.
JAIME PETERS
Jaime has extensive experience playing at the top tiers in Europe. ​He joined the youth set-up at Bundesliga club Kaiserslautern. He then rejected offers from Chelsea and Manchester United, opting instead to sign for EPL new boys Ipswich Town on the advice of Canada national team coach Frank Yallop.
Jaime's standout performance from them came in the League Cup Semi-Final first leg against Arsenal in 2011. He marked Andrei Arshavin so well it forced Arsène Wenger to sub the Russian Winger out in the second half, with Ipswich winning 1–0 and Jaime winning the man of the match.

He made his debut with the Canada senior national team in August 2004 at the age of 17, playing for them 36 times, including at the 2005 and 2009 Concacaf Gold Cups.
